It is a one-part component and sticky ribbon type butyl tape specially formulated for the installation of all gasketless windshield and backlights. It can withstand both low and high temperatures and offers excellent water resistance. Easy and clean application for installing the windscreen. Designed to maintain its position while avoiding direct contact between the glass and pinchweld.

Directions:

• Remove the windshield and old butyl tape. Surface must be clean, dry and oil free.
• In cold weather climate, it is recommended to warm the butyl tape to soften it before installation.
• Hand-press the butyl tape into place around the pinchweld, replace with new setting block if original were damaged.
• Place the windscreen over the tape and apply pressure evenly to ensure a water tight is achieved.
• It can be used in combination with other sealants.
